On May 10, Vincent and I celebrated 7 years together and of course that had to be celebrated! After I saw Lux View Villas on Instagram, I knew for sure: this is where we are going to stay! I sent an email. On May 10, it was finally here….

Lux View Villas on Karpathos

Lux View Villas are three beautiful villas on Karpathos in the small town of Katodio, near Kyra Panagia beach. Tina and Manolis are the owners of Lux View Villas. Together they had the plan of these villas on Karpathos ready for several years already, after they got married and the permits were arranged they could actually start building their own project 🙂 You can really see that a lot of attention has been paid to the details in the villas. This has a logical explanation, as Manolis is an architect. In the villas you really see a lot of beautiful details and especially Vincent always loves that, since he himself also works in construction. He also always notices it much faster than me 😉

Poor parents haha! Today they had to do without a car, because we needed it to drive to Katodio, a small town near the beach Kyra Panagia. Upon arrival Tina is waiting for us, a sweet woman! She shows us the three Lux View Villas and tells us a bit more about them. When Tina leaves we look around the villa we have been assigned. We soon discover a nice glass of wine and so it is time to put on our swimwear, go into the pool and enjoy the view with a glass of wine of course 😉 The rest of the day we don’t really do anything else. We do go to Kyra Panagia, because I need photos of the Easybreath snorkel mask for a collaboration with Decathlon. Kyra Panagia is a good place for this!

In the evening it is time for a bite to eat, we just drive back to Pigadia for this. At En Plo where we normally have breakfast on Karpathos, but where you can also go for a good cocktail, we have a drink and afterwards we have something to eat with Mesogios. We go to bed afterwards, because the alarm goes off again at 6:30 a.m…..

Why so early you must be wondering! We really wanted to take pictures with the sunrise, because when we arrived yesterday, it was a bit cloudy and so we couldn’t shoot good pictures. So there we were at 6:30 am with a glass of wine, taking pictures haha! We had poured the wine mainly for decoration, but well, it went down anyway 😉 Oh well, it’s vacation, it goes with the territory!

You can rent one of the Lux View Villas from € 130,- ( prices increase as the high season approaches) and it is possible to stay there with 4 people (2x double beds, though in the same room!). Furthermore, the villas have the following facilities:
