If you are looking for a unique experience: this is it! Accommodation Two Goats Villas belongs to owners Bruce and Craig who have created a magical spot in the small village of Mertonas on Karpathos. Mertonas is a small area a little further then the exit for Kyra Panagia. It’s a 20 minute ride from Pigadia.
The area is lovely and quiet, you have a fantastic view of the mountains and Kyra Panagia beach and the whole area is a beautiful garden with all the fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits they grow themselves.
But surely the most special thing about staying at the Two Goats is their unique way of serving breakfast. After all, Greece is known for its hospitality. The Art of Philoxenia, which also means ‘kindness to strangers’ is very recognisable in Greece. Greeks are incredibly helpful and invite you home for coffee just like that!
At the Two Goats, they also want to share this type of hospitality with their guests. Breakfast is therefore reserved ‘family style’ at one big table where you sit with everyone. You can share stories, meet new guests and meanwhile enjoy a fantastic breakfast that is prepared live in front of you.
